Kakadu..du..do it!!

The patterns in the rocks are just like that of the oceans...the tessellations and erosion...

I knew there were wetlands but when you see it for real...its just beautiful

I don't want to get too political, but...
Greenies you cant have your cake and eat it too, we need to take 'a leaf out of the book' of those who have been caretakers of the land for 'thousands' of years and learn to manage our bush properly...they know when to burn it and how to do it...

the vegetation is bizarre...it looks like you are in a movie

my little 'ozzies'

again the bush was full of trees, shrubs and ferns that were out of this world

Phil meets the rainbow serpent

I love the artwork...really different from the 'bush' people.
You can see the sea theme in these ones and they use lines not dots.

I have another whole side of the bus....mmmmm

the view from the top was breathtaking!
God is amazing in His creativity and abundance!
This is no random accident!

Just magnificent!

Sometimes you just have to sit back and scratch your head in wonder

Strong man!

Meet Terrance!
He gave us an education on how the paintings were done in the past, using hair and kangaroo blood.
Now being done with reed and glue with the rock.

Our short walk

No crocs sighted but we were all still quite cautious...

Looking back from Arhnem land
still a little kid sometimes but he's a fun kid!

Getting a little close to the water for my liking...

We saw this croc just upstream from where Phil was fishing. He seems to be tagged.

Bird life was beautiful

You can't really see but there is a blue green kingfisher in the tree, it was so pretty!

Back to our park at Jabiru...
Beautiful princess (dinner on her face and all) in her element with the sweet smelling flowers that grow in abundance up here.

and on to Darwin tomorrow.
