Adelaide...we'll be coming back

After a quick ring around trying to find somewhere for the night...

We spoke to a lovely girl from the Bulldogs Footy Club who let us pull up at their club...

We also had a nice desert before bed.

Eliza couldn't wait until we had even got our parking spot before jumping out of the bus to play.

We had a beautiful camping spot right on the Brighton Beach.

Eliza cooking curry for tea.

Visiting a lovely friend, Joy and her gorgeous family.

Stephen, Alexander, Benjamin, Eliza and Esther (LtoR)

On our way back from Joy's place and we were welcomed by a sea of lights, so pretty at night.

Her Majesty's Theatre. Right across from the Central Adelaide Markets.

Central Market

I bet this man didn't know he'd end up being viewed by the world!

Just an interesting factory...that's all.

Esther loved this car and I tried to capture it, but because of the low light and moving vehicle, it turned out rather interesting.

Eliza made lots of friends around Australia...These were Zelma's birds

We were literally a stone's throw away from the water.
Benjamin loved it, we'd find him here every morning knee high in sand.

We drove through beautiful vineyard country.

On our way to the Murray Mouth.

The Murray River.

If only I had a good photo of Phil's face!
This ride was very interesting.

The sand was soft and Phil got 8.8km and decided after testing the 'firmness'...scientifically of course, that it was too much of a risk to keep going.

We turned around and decided to go another way...on bitumen.

We were treated to the sight of a beautiful little seal.

We made it!

You can see at the left hand side of the water line the entrance of the Murray River into the sea.

Eliza thought she'd pick me some flowers but ended up picking the whole bush out of the ground, roots and all.

The bridge over the Murray from the other side.

Welcome to Middleton

A very picturesque place.

Horseshoe Bay

Us Seymour's are everywhere!

We found a farm that butchered its own meat and sold to the public and also supplied over 20 restaurants in the local area.

On the way back to our bus, after a lovely day exploring.

What a view to wake up and go to bed to.

While we were in Adelaide we made the most of wi-fi at the local library to get the kids homework done.

This is just another view of outside our bus at Brighton Caravan Park.

Checking out the food of course, I think this must be at the Market, not sure who stole my camera.

Joy took us to Sushi Train...what an experience!

Phil and Mr Charles Sturt.

The kids found a fun piggy street art while in the mall.

Esther and her dream car...the VW

We even found an Apple store.

Joy introduced me to the World of T2...

Back to the library... and yes this trolley is just for Eliza.

Miss Independent borrowing her own books.

Having a bit of fun trying to win $20 in the shopping centre.

Having a yummy lunch at our Brighton Caravan park with David, Joy, Alexander, Stephen and Jeremy...so fun

Do you remember the olives we beat of the bush back in Clare Valley?...well they're on their way to edible.

Sunday church in the city

They do food well and hospitality

We got there nice and early, so a good cup of hot chocolate and lattes all round.

The kids were pretty impressed with the indoor skate ramps. Which was even better because they'd ridden their skateboards to church.

A cool blue light tunnel to kids church.

The free lunch for guests...incredible!

A few walks along the beach while we were there, it was very relaxing.

Following Jefferson up the Mt Lofty and then on the Hahndorf.

As good as a selfie get with Casey.

What a view!!!

Enjoying each others' company.

Woah!! now that's a kransky!!
One metre of kransky and sauerkraut...no he didn't eat it all himself. It fed us all.

Hahndorf had a very cute puppet shop.

Catching up with old mates.

The gang.
Thanks Jefferson and Sami for a great day out.

Out again this time Jacqui on Gilbert and Goodwood Street.

Yummy yummy yummy

Korean bbq (do it yourself)

And deep fried ice cream.
It was funny because they normally only do about 5 of these a week...we ordered 11 (on one night)...credit to them, they smiled and then rushed to the nearest shop to buy more icecream...mmm thought they took awhile to bring us our dessert.

Fun in IKEA

Benjamin with his new friend Marv, in the Build-a-Bear store.
You create your own teddy.

Eliza loving her new friend Monkey Dunkey.

Even on not so warm days you'll see people in the water.
