Hello South Australia

First glimpse of the bite..

It was pretty scary on the edge...more for me just watching them.
Esther had to push it to the limits but she couldn't see what I could see, how little there was actually underneath her feet.

Big drive today.

We made it to the other side...

Still more Nullarbor...

Nearly in full bloom.

Amazing the view, absolutely awesomely breath taking.

Just breaking the drive with exciting ipad games

There were a few trees...just a few.

Only thing we didn't do was stop and look here for whales...

More road...

Dingo-proof fence

This fence was built in the1880's and finished in 1885.
It is the world's longest fence. Its stretches 5,618kms from Queensland to SA.

See, there are trees...

And all of a sudden pasture...

What a face!

Oh "2 hours"!! oops Phil, time to stop!

A lovely mosaic school sign.

This was just a few wind mills...

Just a little Tonka!

Quaranine Inspection

Only worried about fruit and veg.

Cute little sign in the middle of a round about.

Just taking it all in...haaaaa

Just enjoying a relaxing morning cuppa

Experiencing the Uniting family.

We were really blessed and made new friends...Eleanor, Yvonne Borelase, Joy & Alan Stott.

After the service, Margaret (Blomsen) came to check out our bus. She learned that the children collected stamps, so she came back with some and an invite to stay at her place for a few days.

Forget the date...Phil's a little bit slow...
This was Margaret's lovely home. She and the kids had a lovely time in her beautiful garden.

Oh these Seymour's were quite the table tennis players...I am sure a few locals didn't know what hit them!...LITERALLY!! My boys smashed a few into them!
The church host a table tennis night every Tuesday and we were invited so had to stay a few extra days, just to play.

This train is 100 carriages long and carried gypsum. Its track was at the end of Margaret's street and travelled the line three times a day up and back.

Found these sweet things...boy did they enjoy themselves...we just watched.
The rest of us, a little more civilised didn't want to eat them and have dirty hands...not these two!
Oysters and prawns down the hatch!

The kids loved this bowl...they are actually getting pretty good on their boards.

While Phil may not ride a skateboard, he can play hopscotch!!

Quite a talent he has really...hehehe

Here they are in Margaret's garden, enjoying the sunshine and her company.

We will really miss her, she is a lovely lady, who opened her house and her heart.

Next stop...Port Lincoln.
